Keep the strength of your data-science work while making its relevance and limits clear. This review focus examines modeling, experimentation and production evidence for a particular quantitative target role.
A business prediction task can demonstrate useful methods. It does not automatically establish experience with market data, trading decisions or financial returns.
The distinction to preserve
What was the target? How were observations split? What comparator and metric supported the result? Was the system deployed, and what did you personally own? Which new domain assumptions remain untested?
The document should connect these facts to the role without pretending the original task was something else.
A fictional transformation
Original: “Generated alpha through predictive modeling.”
Actual work: evaluated a demand forecast against a seasonal baseline for an internal planning process.
Conditional revision: “Evaluated a demand forecast against a seasonal baseline on later periods; documented error by segment and the effect of missing inputs.”
The revised version keeps the statistical evidence and removes an unsupported investment interpretation. Add deployment or business impact only when its attribution and measurement are supported.
Written feedback scope
The main service supplies diagnosis, prioritized changes, section comments, selected bullet revisions and an editing checklist, with one clarification follow-up. It does not independently validate the model or certify readiness for every quantitative role.
Bring one target description and factual notes for metrics that are hard to interpret from the resume alone. No private customer dataset is needed for document feedback.
