A fictional example
Original: “Used probability to develop winning trading strategies.”
Available facts: the candidate implemented a finite stopping game and compared simulation with a backward-induction solution.
Conditional revision: “Implemented and analyzed a finite stopping rule; compared simulated outcomes with the analytic solution and explained how continuation costs changed the policy.”
The revised sentence supplies a concrete discussion and avoids an unsupported commercial result. It should be used only if it describes the candidate's actual work.
